Each hand hewn mantel piece comes directly from log cabins built in the late 1800"s in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. These rustic looking beams are each differently unique from one another. They may include nail holes, knots, and hand hewn marks. They have become very weathered from a century of use in old cabins. These vintage mantels will look great above your fireplace. They will enhance the rustic look of any room. Rustic reclaimed mantels are the perfect spot to display family photos, or any decor. They will certainly draw attention with their very rustic look. Each mantel is left natural. You can apply oil or stain to bring out the desired color in the wood to match your home decor. Mounting hardware is not included. These mantels are now cut on the back side so they can be mounted flush on the wall. Mounting should be done according to the wall construction where ever the mantel is displayed. Product dimensions will vary slightly being that it is a natural wood product.
These mantels are 6" x 8-12" x desired length.
